I know it looks like a typo, but it's not it's a Redism. Definition of Redism: my crazy random way of talking, writing, texting that just pops out of my ever wandering sometimes just plain totaly lost mind. TGOF, Thank God On Friday, it's my spin off from my last Friday blog about being thankful for the rest of the week, not just for Friday. It's my way of motivating myself to be more thankful. Join me if you'd like and make your own list and post it for me. So often another person's perspective sheds light on something you may not have even thought to stop and consider a blessing.
My Thankful List:
I am thankful I saw my princess randomly walk up to the prince, bend down, plant a big kiss on his chubby cheek, and say "I love you".
I am thankful my mother could watch the kids for a half hour yesterday while I finished a project Big Daddy and I started. The ability to finish it made me feel good and the quiet time wasn't bad either!
I am thankful for lullaby music. It's playing for naptime right now and, even though I'm not falling asleep like the lil ones are, I think it calms me almost as much as it does them.
I am thankful we have my in-laws family reunion this weekend! Lots to be thankful for there! Thankful for Big Daddy's great family! That's right, I am lucky enough to like the in-laws! Thank you Lord for that! I am thankful it's just up the road from us this year. Also it is after nap time so maybe the Prince and Princess will be well rested and ready to go play and mingle with their fans.
Again, I am just thankful for today. "This is the day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it" Which reminds me, I am thankful for a mother that is strong beyond what I have ever seen, and is too humble to know it. She is the inspiration for my clinging to "This is the day the Lord has made", but that my friends is whole other story.
It's going to be so much fun tomorrow!!!
ReplyDeleteHere's my list...even though it's Monday haha...but times have been tough for me lately...kind of feeling like I have no direction in life right now...so I am thankful that I even have a life. I am thankful that I have dedicated my life to Christ, and to a man who lives for Christ. I am thankful for the internet. lol. I am because it motivates me sometimes right when I needed it. I am thankful that my mother and father love my future fiance and are paying for us to have the wedding of our dreams. And most of all...right now...I am thankful that I live where I can walk around outside with no fear, day or night. I just talked to a friend who is scared to death b/c her husband is not home and she lives in Frasier.
