Mini Vacation

I'm on the "ten" countdown! Just ten more days until we get away for a weekend! This Momma is very ready! I love my kiddos. I love being home with them. I love love love being blessed to be their caregiver, teacher, mommy... all of it! I have to say though a break now and again is great!
We are blessed to have some friends whose family owns a little get away cabin on the Red River AND they are willing to share! I've been friends with my "M&M " since high school age, at church camp. I've gotten to know her husband and he's become a friend also. He's the one that baptized Big Daddy :) He and Big Daddy have become good friends. We are so very grateful to have a couple we can go play with :). They do not have children as of yet, so once in a while the moons, stars, planets, and planners align so that we can manage babysitters for our two and we find ourselves pretty close to the middle of nowhere. IT'S WONDERFUL! This will only be our second trip up. It was winter last trip (told ya... moons, stars... alignment...it doesn't happen often) so I'm excited to get to be a lil more adventurous this trip and enjoy the outdoors. I've even been invited to tag along w the boys on a fishing trip... they do this in a boat... i dont really like getting in boats. Once I'm in I can work past the anxiety of it. I'm an excellent swimmer! I just don't like boats. Oh well, I'll get over it for some good fish'n I guess! Besides, my M&M can't get off that day so I'd spend the day all by myself... that would be great for about an hour and then I'm restless. I'm too use to being busy. I'm ready for this trip to get closer and closer and just BE HERE already! I'll of course post some pics of the get away. Maybe a pic of me IN a boat...we'll see...
