TGOF: Thank God On Friday

I am thankful for:

1. Playing in the leaves
2. Cooler Weather
3. Laundry is all clean! Whoo hoo!
4. House is clean
5. Excedrin, with out it those last two wouldn't have gotten done!
6. Finger painting "apple trees"
7. Coke Zero
8. The possibility Big Daddy might actually have Sunday off! I hope I'm not jinxing it by posting about it. Between LRFD and mostly the quarry he's not had a Sunday off in a while. I'm looking forward to getting to be at church with him beside me, Sunday afternoon nap, and supper with his family. *insert deep sigh here* I hope I hope I hope he gets Sunday off! 
9. Good news. Got some just a bit ago that I have to keep under wraps for now, sorry. But I'm still sooooo very thankful for this good news. 
10. Venting. I vented to my husband and a friend of mine about some crazy stuff go'n on. Ya'll I HATE gossip. I try to stay so far out of the rumor and drama mill that I can't get there from where I'm at. Sometimes though it gets delivered to your front door. 

 So I'll attach to this thankful item a request.
Pray for those that have lost sight of what is important. Like I said I stay out of this gunk, but it's been brought to my door. And that's ok, because I have the advantage of not being wrapped up in the mess I can be in an "outside looking in" perspective. That's allowed me to see a bigger picture of what is going on. From what I can tell, the base of the problem in a loss of focus. I ask that you pray for those that have lost sight of the goal to regain the vision of the priorities at hand. Don't we all get a little lost sometimes? I know I have! Physically I  have no inner compass! I could get lost in a paper sack. Spiritually, oh yes I've been lost and get lost still. So glad that God has never lost sight of me, He left me a map, and blesses me daily with those that help me find my way.
