Apples

As I mentioned in the last blog, my Princess is taking swim lessons. Every day my wonderful mother picks up the Princess and E and takes them to lessons. This gives the Prince and K the run of the house. Well today I made a break for the bathroom as soon as the big kids cleared the driveway. I came out of the bathroom moments later to find not one kid sitting at the door, no fingers stuffed under the door while I was in the there, not a sound... this means trouble at my house, it's never quiet!! So I began to look around for the little ones. It of course did not take long. They were in the kitchen at a bowl where I had put some apples on a table. They both were taking BIG bites! There a few points to make here:
1. We had eaten a snack not long before this, and the lil bottomless pits were still hungry! I would put my Prince against any large man or teenage boy in an eating contest any day! I swear his stomach starts at his ears and goes to his toes!
2. Most likely my Prince made a break for the apples as soon as I cleared the room because I wasn't gone long. He had a plan! K being a big eater herself probably found it safe to assume my chunky monkey was headed for food when I left and followed him.
3. This is a knee high chest that I put little decorative items on, and is easily accesable. They are well behaved kids and have never bothered a thing on it. They touched nothing but the apples.
4. There is a candy basket right next to the apples that also was untouched!!!!
They were so proud of their apples that all I could do was laugh! God defiantly gave me what I needed at that moment. I was in great need of some cheer and that defiantly gave a highlight to my day!
