Little things seems to give me a big laugh! I laugh easily and often, so if it's good for the soul then I should be very healthy in that aspect! Just a few little things from the last couple days that gave me a laugh:
Last night:
I'm busy cooking dinner. Prince is busy singing and beebop'n around the kitchen. I have bread in the oven baking. I turn on the light to the oven to check on how it's doing since it should have been close to done. I stick my head down there to have a look in the window and my Prince pokes his head next to mine and lets out a great big "Mmmmm! Yummm! Momma cook'n!"
Today:
Let me preface this incident with this : I put diapers left from a package that no longer fit the Prince in with the baby dolls so they can pretend to change their "babies".
I had been out of the play room for a few moments putting some towels away in the bathroom. I came back to check on everything, you know make sure they weren't scaling the walls, pulling hair, making reading book confetti, the normal stuff... Upon entering the room I immediatly notice my prince's diaper looks HUGE. I thought he must be extremly wet from all the juice and milk he's drank. I pick him up, tote him to the changing table. I notice it's a little tight, open the diaper to find... the original diaper I put on him! Evidently while I was out of the room the Prince was very still and patient while Sissy used one of the "play" diapers and "changed" the Prince instead of her dolly. He just grinned so big when I laughed. When I came back to the play room with the Prince and set him down. I asked the Princess if she added a diaper to her brother. She so matter of factly said with a shrug of her shoulders "Yeah, I just changed him."
Last night:
At the dinner table we encourage the kids to atleast try everything on their plate. The Princess had eaten "all my bread" according to her. I looked and saw that she had eatten all the white and none of the crust. I pointed out " The crust is bread too, it's your Daddy's favorite part" (if it's Big Daddy's "favortie" it suddenly becomes the best thing she's ever eaten also) "You should try it". " But Mommy I have some in my mouth. See!" With a big grin she displays her crust well placed over her top teeth. Giving herself a bread crust smile.
Same Bat time, Same Bat place for TGOF tomorrow! Have a great day!
So...the part about the bread crust over her teeth...you SO taught her that! Haha...j/k! That was too funny!
