TGOF

It really is Friday! Monday and Tuesday took so long I thought the weekend wasn't going to come this week! Then today I don't have all four kids, just my kiddos, and I was convinced it was Saturday when I woke up! I even was looking to see if the dress I was thinking of wearing to services "tomorrow" needing much ironing... yep... then I drank a lil more of my coffee and realized... IT'S FRIDAY!!!! So here's a shot of what I'm thankful for right now. DON'T BE SHY FOLKS! Post me a lil someth'n you're thankful for! My dearest Lorie is my only faithful poster and occasionally my very busy mother in law makes time to post a lil someth'n sweet... come on people! Give a great big count your blessing shout out!

1. I am thankful for days that feel like a weekend day. It was much needed and soooo very appreciated
2. I am thankful for my kiddos sleeping until after 8am! How great is that??? Sleep is defiantly a thankful and rare commodity around here!
3. I am thankful for my husband bathing and putting down the kids last night so I could get my shopping done a little early this week. He's so helpful! 
4. I am thankful for what made me want to get the shopping done early. 4.A. I wanted to get the shopping done early because I absolutely positively must participate in bargains galore on 64! We are blessed with too much and must share in the form of give away and so cheap it's gonna be gone by the end of the day for sure!!! 4.B. DATE NIGHT!!!! Yes!!! It's only been... a couple months... *insert deep sigh here*. So glad my mother-in-law volunteered to take on my two tornadoes for the night! 
5. I am thankful for netflix once again so that Big Daddy and I can enjoy our date night in! I know it kind of sounds homebodyish or party pooper. In reality though being in the house to watch a movie full volume after 8pm, eat in the living room, just enjoy being together with out the loudness of a crowd or needing to be quiet in a theater... it's exactly what I want! 
6. I am thankful for the G.I. Bill. Through "on the job training" my big Daddy can draw on his. Have I mentioned I married a Marine? Yep I'm nuts. I married my high school sweetheart, after he was medically honorably discharged from the USMC. I say I'm nuts because I'm told so often that I am whenever they find out I'm married to a former Marine ( to any Marines out there or Marine families yes I know there isn't truly such a thing - Once a Marine Always A Marine) and top that off with being a firefighter's wife... yep I get looked at kind of funny sometimes. If they don't call me nuts then they say "You must be one heck of a strong gal!" or something like that. I am thankful that we are going to be blessed with a lil extra money flow for a while to get things PAID OFF! We are working towards being as close to a "paid in full" household as possible. So a long explanation of my thankful #6 later... I'm thankful for the extra dough $ !
