- I am thankful to be busy busy busy! Means I'm still alive!
- I am thankful for date nights!! Whooo hooo! Tonight I'm going to get to have an adult meal! No, I don't mean the entree will be shaped like any unmentionable parts! Mommies you know what I mean. NO fits NO mac and cheese NO kids meals on the menu!!!! Yessss!
- I am thankful for my amazing family! They go out of their way in so many ways to help Big Daddy and I to have some much needed "us time". I have no idea how people that live far away from their families do it. I admire their strength in that aspect, (LOLO, Kristie Kay, and SCOTTY I'm talk'n about ya'll!!!) but I wouldn't want it any other way for us. It's just my choice. I love having such close proximity to our family! I wouldn't want it any other way!
- I am thankful for WALMART about to head there and load up the cart :)
- I am thankful for friends that will drop by for dinner just because you send a text that says "It's pasta night and I make too much" ;) It's always great fun and I love that this has started happening about once a week that our M&M and K'Al drop by for supper and some laughter. It's so good for my soul! I love to cook, and I always make too much. I love having our friends over durning the week, it makes the week go by so much easier. I love the comic relief we provide each other. I love the support it gives us as two christian couples trying to make it in a not so christian world.

ReplyDeleteLet me just tell you...that sometimes I don't know if I have the strength either lol. Days like today, I miss home...I miss my mom and family and friends. But God, all things are possible...even when it's hard I have to remember to be thankful for the opportunity that I had to come here and marry the man of my dreams.
