Sick

I really dislike being sick! Especially when I am sick at the same time my children are sick, and that is what has happened over the weekend. Princess got the sniffles, Prince got a runny nose late in the day Saturday. By Sunday we were all three piled in Bid Daddy's chair in the living room with a blanket and orange juice. Princess whispered all day yesterday and any time she tried to talk aloud it was a squawky squeaky noise instead of her chipper voice I heard.  We just got back from their pediatrician and no strep and no ear infections, just what I call the funk. A head cold. Ugh! So no antibiotics just some nasal spray to help ease the inflammation the Princess' nose and ears since she was the only one with fluid in her ears. I'm not even going to bother going to the doctor. Just juice'n up with orange juice and Gatorade, and we've had chicken soup and potato soup over the weekend. I love making homemade soups, I just dislike that it's usually when one of us is sick that I make them.  I think mommy needs a time out!!!
